You can correct vertical vibration when playing back tapes record- ed in SLP speed. When VIDEO STABILIZER is set to ON, vertical vibration will be corrected automatically. VIDEO STABILIZER is set to OFF when you receive the VCR.

Follow the steps below to set VIDEO STABILIZER to ON.

Regardless of the setting, this func- tion has no effect on tapes recorded in SP speed, during recording, and during special effects playback.

To set VIDEO STABILIZER to OFF, follow steps 1 - 2 above. At step 3, press the FF :/OK button so that OFF appears beside VIDEO STABI- LIZER. Press the EXIT/STATUS but- ton.

The on screen status display may jit- ter vertically when VIDEO STABILIZ- ER is set to ON.
