Helpful Hints

If you leave the VCR on past the scheduled start time of a timer recording, you will not be asked again to turn off the VCR. The VCR might store the recording for the same time and day in the next year. Or, the VCR may start recording when you turn off the VCR power.

If the end of the tape is reached dur- ing a timer recording, recording will stop. The VCR will eject the tape, then turn itself off.

If PROGRAM NOT COMPLETED/ CLASH appears at step 9, the timer recording you just programmed over- laps another timer recording. The timer recording you just programmed will not take place. The timer record- ing menu will reappear. To cancel a timer recording, see page 39.

If you forget to turn off the VCR,

PLEASE TURN OFF VCR FOR TIMER RECORDING flashes on your TV screen two minutes before a timer recording starts. To remove the mes-

sage, press the CLEAR button.
