3. Safety

The purpose of this section is to acquaint you with the symbols and safety instructions and make you aware of general dangers that might arise in using the carrier. In addition, here you will get to know about the particular dangers when using the carrier in road trafﬁ c, as well as being warned against unauthorised rebuilds or modiﬁ cations.

This section, which is entitled »Safety«, is the most important section in this Owner’s Manual. For this reason you need to read through it with particular care and take note of all instructions.
