Peripheral Device Related Symptoms

Symptom / Error

FRU / Action in Sequence

The external monitor does not work correctly.

Serial port device problems.

1.Check that the external monitor is enabled in the Rapid Access utility.

2.Check that the external monitor can display at 640x480 and 800x600, @ 75Hz refresh rate.

3.Connect the external monitor to another PC. If the monitor works fine, replace the mainboard. If not, replace the external monitor.

Note: The serial port and the infrared port can not be used at the same time.

Power-Related Symptoms

System enters suspend during operation.
