On/Stand-by

This allows the AVR280 to be put into and taken out of stand-by remotely.

If you do not wish to put Zone 2 into stand-by at the same time as the main zone, press and hold the stand-by button on the remote control for more than 3 seconds.

TAPE

Selects Tape input for the amplifier

Navigation buttons

Arrow buttons allow navigation around the Basic and Advanced Set-up menus on the AVR280.

Confirm a selection by pressing OK.

ShifT B to Power on

Shift C to Power off

Shift E to switch Zone 2 on

Shift D to switch Zone 2 off.

MODE

Cycles through available audio surround modes.

MUTE

Press once to mute the main system. Press again (or use VOL +/–) to un-mute.

VOLUME +/–

Adjusts the sound output.

Press to select the OSD Main menu.

Press and hold for more than three seconds to select the ‘Set-up Menu Index’.

Press to cycle through Off/Dim/Bright illumination of the front panel display

If the tuner is in Preset mode, these buttons give the next Preset radio station down (0) or up (/). If the tuner is in Tune mode, these buttons decrease/increase the tuning frequency.
