Deleting movies

— Delete

Mode dial:

You can delete unwanted movies.

Zoom button

When using a CD-R, the disc remaining space does not increase even if you delete images.

When using a CD-RW, the disc remaining

space only increases if you delete the last image

you shot while is indicated on the LCD screen. If you modify an image, or open and

close the disc cover, disappears.

If the disc remaining space is not sufficient, you may not be able to delete an image.

In single-image mode

aSet the mode dial to .

bDisplay the movie you want to delete with b/B.

cPress (Delete).

The movie has not yet been deleted at this point.

dSelect [Delete] with v, then press z.

When the message “Disc access” disappears, the movie has been deleted.

eTo continue and delete other movies, display the movie you want to delete with b/B, and repeat step 4.

To cancel deletion

Select [Exit] in step 4or 5, then press z.

In index (nine-image) mode

aSet the mode dial to , then press the zoom W (index) to display an index (nine-image) screen.

bPress (Delete).

cSelect [Select] with b/B, then press z.

dSelect the movie you want to delete with v/V/b/B, then press z.

The green (Delete) indicator appears on the selected movie.

eRepeat step 4 to delete other movies.
