Preparing to Take Pictures

Setting the Beep Sound

The camera “beep” sound can be turned on or off in the mode menus.

1Turn the Mode dial to any function except PLAY or PC Cam.

2 Press the MENU button.

3 Press the Right button until the SETTINGS

icon ( ) is highlighted.

4 Press the Up and Down button to highlight the BEEP item.

5 Press the SET button to enter the BEEP submenu.

6 Press the Up or Down button to set the beep ON or OFF.

7 Press SET to save the BEEP setting.

8.Press the MENU button to exit the menu.

NOTE:

The default BEEP setting is ON.

Camera LCD Off Setting (Power Saving)

In order to conserve battery power, you may set the different time length for the LCD off.

1Turn the Mode dial to any function except PLAY or PC Cam.

2 Press the MENU button.

3 Press the Right button until the SETTINGS icon ( ) is highlighted. 4 Press the Up or Down button to select the POWER SAVING item.

5 Press the SET button to enter the POWER SAVING submenu.

6 Press the Up or Down button to set the

POWER SAVING:

1 Min, 2 Min, or OFF.

7Press SET to save the POWER SAVING setting.

8.Press the MENU button to exit the menu.

NOTE:

1.The LCD will turn off automatically based on the time you set, press any button to turn on the LCD.

2.The camera will power off automatically after one minute of LCD off, press the Power button to turn on the camera.
