3Taking Pictures

Previewing a Picture

Preview photos on the LCD screen before pressing the Shutter button.

1Turn the Mode dial to Auto or Manual mode.

2 Press POWER to turn on the camera.

3 The LED indicator next to the viewfinder flashes green.

4 The image automatically appears on the LCD screen together with informa- tion about current camera settings.

Setting the LCD Display Mode

Use the DISP Button to toggle the LCD mode. The LCD mode changes each time the button is pressed as follows:

1Press DISP once to turn the on-screen information display (OSD) off.

2In Auto, Manual, Video and Audio Modes, press DISP once to turn the OSD off, twice to turn the LCD off, and once again to turn the LCD and OSD on.

3Press DISP again to turn the image-only OSD on.
