TAKING A PICTURE WITH OPTICAL ZOOM

The camera can use up to 3x optical zoom to take pictures. The white zoom bar color shown on the LCD indicates the optical zoom only.

How to use optical zoom:

1.Press ( T ) to zoom in.

• The zoom bar will display on the LCD screen.

2.Press ( W ) to zoom out or to the normal mode.

TAKING A PICTURE WITH DIGITAL ZOOM

The 4x digital zoom combined with the 3x optical zoom can give you up to 12x magnification to your pictures.

How to use digital zoom:

1.At the maximum optical zoom level, continue to press ( T ) until the digital zoom is activated.

There will be a short delay before the digital zoom is activated.

When the digital zoom is being used, the zoom bar will turn blue.
