EV COMPENSATION

The camera uses EV Compensation to give you well exposed pictures under most conditions. If the main subject turned out too light or too dark, you can use the EV Compensation feature to improve the result.

EV Compensation

Description

+Increasing the Exposure in pictures that are too dark, will make the picture lighter.

Decreasing the Exposure in pictures that are too light will make the picture darker.

How to use Exposure Compensation:

1.Press in the Main Menu until ( +) EV Compensation is highlighted.

2.Press to display the EV Compensation bar on the LCD.

3.Press to change the EV Compensation between -1.8 to +1.8.

4.Press to select the desired value.

• The camera will return to picture taking mode automatically after selecting.
