TAKING PICTURES

To turn your camera on, press the POWER button ; the LCD screen will turn on and two beeps will be heard.

If desired, press the SELECT/Flash button to set the flash mode of your choice (see page 14).

If desired, change the Image Setting (see page 16).

Look through the viewfinder and position the camera on the object you want to capture. Press the Shutter button ; the display will blink, the unit will beep and the picture will be taken.

NOTES:

If you want to store the pictures on the CompactFlashTM memory card (not included), insert the card before taking pictures.

Do not move while the camera is taking the picture.

If the display and the Battery indicator blinks, there is not enough battery power to take the picture. Change the batteries in this case.

The total pictures taken will appear in the display.
