Making Connections

Connecting the Camera to a TV

Images displayed on the camera’s monitor screen can also be displayed on a television.

1.Use the included audio/video cable to connect the camera to the TV set.

2.Set the TV input signal to Video In. Refer to the documentation included with your TV for more information.

3.Everything that would normally appear on the camera’s LCD screen, such as photo and video clip playback, slide shows, and image or video capture, appears on the TV.

NOTE:

yThe camera LCD screen turns off automatically during video output.

Connecting the Camera to a PC

There are two ways to download files from the camera’s internal memory or memory card to a computer:

yby inserting the memory card into a card reader

yby connecting the camera to a computer using the included USB cable

Using the Card Reader

1.Eject the memory from the camera and insert it in a card reader that is connected to a computer.

2.Open My Computer or Windows Explorer and double-click the removable drive icon that represents the memory card.

3.Copy images from the card into a directory of your choice on the computer’s hard disk.
