Operation

Refer to the DX4000 Operation manual for details on how to access the system features and navigate the menus. The operation manual is located on the resource CD that came with your unit.

STARTING AND STOPPING THE DX4000

Press the power button on the front panel of the DX4000 to start it. The first time you start the DX4000, you must log on as the administrator. For future sessions, you can log on as any of the users after you configure the system. To access the DX4000 menus functions, you must log on with a user ID that provides administrator access.

To start the DX4000

1.Press the power button on the front panel of the DX4000 if it is not already running. The Setup screen appears and the Administrator user is selected.

2.Press the numbered channel buttons to enter the default password (1234), and then press the Enter button.

To stop the DX4000

1.Press the power button on the front panel of the DX4000. The unit beeps and displays the Shutdown screen.

2.Press the numbered channel buttons to enter your password, and then press the Enter button. The unit shuts down all attached devices and then turns off.
