VARIOUS FUNCTIONS AND OPERATIONS

Mask Function

You can mask a section of the output image.

Mask settings

From the Camera Mode OSD Menu select [Function Setting] [Mask]. When [Darkness] is selected the level bar is displayed, and you can then set the darkness for the areas outside the highlighted section with the [] and [] buttons.

Mask operations

When you press the [] button on the remote control while the output image is Camera Image or SD Mode, the mask display uses the darkness set previously.

You can move the masked area using the [ ], [ ], []. and [ ] buttons on the remote control.

The mask display is cleared when you press the [ ] button on the remote control again.

N o t e

The scroll function cannot be used when the output image is PC.

In the optical zoom range, the mask size remains the same. In the digital zoom range, the mask size expands and contracts depending on the magnification ratio.

Cannot mask the entire output image.
