This button turns the unit on.

2INPUT

Press one of these buttons to select the required input source.

3EXT. DEC.

Press this button when using an external decoder.

4A/B/C/D/E

Press this button to select a group of preset stations.

5DSP

Press this button. While the indicator is lit up for about three seconds, select a DSP program by using the number buttons (1 to 8). No DSP program can be selected after the indicator goes off.

6PRESET (+/–)

Press these buttons to select the preset station number.

7VOLUME ( )

Press these buttons to adjust the volume level.

8MUTE

Press this button to mute the sound. To cancel mute, press this button once more, or press the operation buttons of this unit.

9SLEEP

Press this button to set the SLEEP timer.

0 (LEFT), (RIGHT)

These buttons are used to adjust the settings of the SET MENU mode and the TIME/LEVEL mode.

qTIME/LEVEL

Press this button to set the unit in the TIME/LEVEL mode and to select the item.

wSTANDBY

Press this button to set this unit in the standby mode.

eTEST

Press this button to output a test tone for adjusting the output level of the speakers.

rEFCT (EFFECT) ON/OFF

Press this button to turn on or off the DSP program which includes the Dolby Pro Logic decoder, the Dolby Digital decoder and the DTS decoder.

t (NEXT), (BACK)

These buttons are used to advance or go back one selection in the SET MENU mode and TIME/LEVEL mode.

ySET MENU

Press this button to set the unit in the SET MENU mode and to select functions.

2DSP program

Press one of these buttons to select the required DSP program (1 to 8). When you select the input source, set the SELECTOR

DIAL to the AMP/TUN position.

Note: The function of all buttons other than DSP program is the same as that with the AMP/TUN position.
