Remove the battery when the product is stored for an extended period of time. In the unlikely event that battery fluid leaks inside the product, contact Kodak customer support.

Battery replacement, battery life

KODAK Li-Ion Rechargeable Digital Camera Battery KLIC-7003 (1050 mAh): 310 pictures per charge. Battery life per CIPA testing method. (Approx. number of pictures in Smart Capture mode.) Actual life may vary based on usage.

Extending battery life

Use power-saving features (see Using the Setup tab, page 29).

Keep battery contacts/terminals clean. Wipe with a dry cloth.

Charge Li-Ion batteries frequently, even if power remains.

Battery performance is reduced at low temperatures. When using your camera in cold weather, keep spare batteries warm. Do not discard cold batteries that do not work; when they return to room temperature, they may be usable.
