DELETE

Deleting permanently erases the file. Once deleted, a file cannot be recovered. Care should be taken when deleting images.

Single, multiple, or all files on a specific memory card can be deleted with the playback menu (p. 56). The delete function can only erase unprotected files.

Use the up/down keys of the controller to highlight the delete option.

Press the right controller key to continue.

Use the up/down keys to highlight the media or unit option.

Press the right controller key to display the settings.

Use the up/down keys to highlight the new setting.

Press the right key or menu button to complete the selection.

The media option specifies the card from which the files are deleted; SD for a SD Memory card or MultiMediaCard, and MS for a Memory Stick. The unit option specifies whether some (SELECT) or all (ALL ON) files are deleted.
