RECORDING MENU SETUP

A basic or detailed recording menu can be selected. Page 35 shows the detailed menu options.

Select the rec menu option from the setup menu (p. 70).

Use the up/down keys to highlight the menu type.

Press the right key or menu button to complete the operation. The left controller key cancels the operation.

The resolution option on the basic recording menu does not allow the compression rate to be changed; normal compression is used for all images. Settings made with other options on the detailed menu are canceled when the basic menu is selected.

The camera’s clock and calendar can be set. Select the date set option from the setup menu (p. 70).

Use the up/down keys to highlight the option to be changed. Use the left/right keys to change the option. The last option sets the date format among year/month/day, day/month/year, and month/day/year.

Press the menu button to complete the operation. Pressing the shutter-release button cancels it.
