INSTANT PLAYBACK

After a still image is captured, it can be dis- played on the monitor for two seconds before being saved. Instant playback shows the last frame in the series when used with the continuous-advance drive mode (p. 40).

Instant playback can be activated in sec- tion 2 of the recording-mode menu (p. 48). When used with voice memo, the audio recording will begin after the image is played back.

Camera notes

Images can be previewed immediately after they have been captured regardless of whether instant playback is active or not. Simply continue to hold down the shutter-release button after taking the picture to display the image on the monitor. Release the shutter button to end the playback. This function is disabled if the continuous advance or the self-timer drive mode is used.
