To Use a Production Effect

1.Place the POWER switch in CAMERA. The power indicator will light.

2.Place FULL AUTO/PRESET switch in FULL AUTO or PRESET.

Press the PROG.AE/EFFECT button to turn the Cinema mode on or off.

3.Press PROG.AE/EFFECT to highlight the effect you want to select.

Note: The effect you select is automatically activated and the menu is removed from the viewfinder or LCD monitor in approximately two seconds.

4.Press the thumb trigger to start recording with the effect you selected.

Note: This is the only production effect you can use in FULL AUTO.

•FULL AUTO/PRESET in PRESET Press the PROG.AE/EFFECT button to display the production effect menu.

Notes: When Sepia is activated, pressing MAN.W.BAL. has no effect.

Certain effects cannot be used together with other functions. When an effect not suitable in the current situation is selected, its indicator flashes in the viewfinder or in the LCD monitor.

To Turn Off a Production Effect

When FULL AUTO/PRESET switch is in FULL AUTO, press PROG.AE/

EFFECT.

When FULL AUTO/PRESET switch is in PRESET, press PROG.AE/EFFECT to display the production effect menu, and then press PROG.AE/EFFECT repeatedly to highlight OFF.
