1.Align reference arrow on battery with arrow on camcorder. Hold battery flush against camcorder while sliding it down in the direction of the arrow as shown .

I2. Press and hold small button on POWER while placing it in CAMERA. POWER indicator will light if battery is properly attached.

1.Slide POWER to OFF. POWER indicator will turn off.

2.Press and hold BATTERY eject while sliding battery up and off the camcorder.
