Chapter 3: Operation

SELECT UTP CABLE TEST MODE: Press the “3” key to enter the UTP test mode.

START TEST: Press “SET.” The CAT5/6 UTP cable wire map will be displayed on the LCD screen.

RETURN TO MAIN MENU: Hold the MENU key to return to the Main Menu.

3.4.4Selection 4: Video Generator: Testing a monitor using the VIDEO OUT port. Connection. Connect the monitor to the tester using the VIDEO OUT jack:

Drive the monitor with the tester’s video generator. Or drive the monitor with a camera “looped” through the tester.

SELECT VIDEO GENERATOR MODE: Press the “4” key to turn ON the video generator.
