Connecting your cable/satellite box to your VCR/DVR
If you occasionally want to record programs from your cable service, you need to connect your cable/satellite box to your VCR or DVR. The diagram on this page is an example of how this equipment might typically be connected.
Before you start, make sure that your cable/satellite box and VCR/DVR have the necessary inputs and outputs available.
