•WEP Encryption: Wireless network communications can be intercepted easily. WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) is an encryption method specified by the IEEE 802.11g standard to make intercepting wireless communication by unauthorized parties more difficult. Click this radio button to specify that WEP Encryption will be used. The default setting for this option is Disable.
•WEP Key Length: Click a radio button to specify the length of the WEP Key that is used on your Wireless LAN. The Camera offers 64 bits or 128 bits lengths for the WEP Key. In general, a larger key length creates a stronger cipher. The default setting is 64 bits.
