Hardware Installation

First, use the supplied driver to detach the dome cover from the camera base. Then, follow the steps below to install the camera; either to a ceiling or to a wall.

Alignment sticker

Notes:

 

The attached screws and anchors are used to install the

camera to a solid surface. (e.g. concrete) If installing on loose

 

or thin material surfaces , use the appropriate anchors (not

 

included) with the screws.

 

Install the camera tightly.

Mounting the camera to a solid surface

(1)Attach the Alignment Sticker to the surface.

(2)Drill two pilot holes (Ø0.28inch×1.57inches(D) (Ø7mm×40mm(D))) through the two circles on the sticker.

(3)Hammer the supplied plastic anchors into the holes.

(4)Drill a hole (Ø1.25inch(Ø30mm)) in the center of the sticker, and lead the cables in this hole.

(5)Align the two holes of the Camera with the two plastic

anchors; insert the supplied two screws to corresponding holes

Knock out

and secure them with a driver.

 

Cable installation

All cables are turned along the back side of camera, and leaded to the hole of ceiling or wall.

When you do not lead the cable to the backside hole of camera, cut out the knock out of the cover.

NOTE

Installation should be done only by qualified personnel and conform to all local codes.

Install this camera on a firm and solid part of the ceiling or wall.

If installed on a weak place the camera could fall causing injury and damage.

Notice of installation near a wall

A screw driver is required to tighten the dome cover. Ensure that the camera is installed with sufficient clearance for tightening the dome cover.
