Protecting Pictures

Your digital camera allows you to protect pictures and prevent them from being accidentally erased from the internal memory or CF card.

Note:

If the CF card is inserted to the camera, protect function takes effect on the pictures stored in the CF card, not in the internal memory.

To select and protect a picture:

1.Turn the dial knob to Playback mode ( ).

2.Keep pressing or button to move backward or forward until you find the picture you want to protect.

3.Now press Menu button to display the menu screen on LCD monitor.

4.The File Menu then appears. (If the File Menu is not displayed, keep pressing or button until you see the File Menu.)

5.Press button to select the PROTECT option. Then, press ENTER button.

The picture you selected then appears on the LCD, with the "Protect Photo" message displayed.

6.Press or button to select Yes. The Protect icon then appears on the picture. 7.Press ENTER button to confirm and protect the picture.

Note:

To disable picture protection, press or button to select No. Then press ENTER button. The icon will disappear from the image.

Copying Pictures to CF Card(Optional)

Your digital camera provides this feature, allowing you to copy the images stored in your camera’s internal memory to CF card. After copying the image to CF card, you can remove the CF card from camera and delete those pictures on the internal memory.

Note:

This feature is only applicable on digital camera that has internal memory as media storage besides using CF card.

Here is how to copy images from internal memory to CF card:

1.Turn the dial knob to Playback mode ( ).

2.Now press Menu button to display the menu screen on LCD monitor.

3.Press or button until you see the File Menu.

4.Press button to select the COPY TO CF option. Then, press ENTER button.
