Transferring Photos to Your Computer

Caution: Do not connect the camera to your computer until after you install the ArcSoft PhotoMAX Image Maker Software and restart your computer.

1Turn the camera off and connect the camera to the AC adapter (a).

2Turn the camera on.

Note: It is important that you keep your camera on during this entire process.

3Turn the mode dial to PC . PC appears in the status LCD and an arrowhead points to the PC icon.

4Connect the USB cable to the USB port on the back of your computer. Check your computer’s user manual for the locations of the computer’s USB ports.

5Connect the other end of the USB cable to the USB port on the camera (b).

Caution: If the USB connection is not tight, the plug may pull out. Check that it is fully inserted every time you transfer photos.

The computer may tell you that it has located the camera and is updating the computer’s database.
