EV (EXPOSURE COMPENSATION SETTING)

Exposure compensation is required when there is an extreme difference in brightness between the background and the subject. Use this setting to manually brighten or darken an image. Default setting is 0.0.

SPE EFFECT (SPECIAL EFFECTS)

The DS8618 offers you 4 different special effects to choose from. These include:

Vivid - extra-sharp focus for clear picture

Low sharp - more of a soft focus for more of a blurred photo

Sepia - brownish gray or olive dark green hue

B W (black and white) - shades of gray; no color

SCH SHOT (SCHEDULE SHOT)

With the DS8618, you can pre-select a time for your camera to capture

apicture.

1.Access the menu and then select a time to start, a time to end or an interval time period.

2.Then use the ARROW buttons to enter the time information.

3.When you have defined the time, then press the SET button.

SHOT CFM (SHOT CONFIRMATION)

This feature enables you to save or not to save the most recent captured photo. After capturing a photo, you will be asked whether you want to save the image or not.

1.To activate this feature, select "On" in the menu screen.

2.To save an image press the SET button, or press the MENU button to not save the captured image.
