In order to prevent any danger of accident, the following rules must be respected

Switch on the unit only after ensuring correct installation according to the instructions contained in this manual. Do not install the unit where there may be extreme changes of temperature and humidity.

Ensure that any labels showing safety information are visible and in good condition.

Place the unit on a hard, flat surface not covered by carpet or other soft material, and allow at least 6 inches clearance all around the cabinet. The ventilation holes should not be obstructed, to avoid the amplifier overheating. Do not install the unit near radiators or heat sources and allow adequate ventilation at all times.

Do not switch on the unit until it is correctly installed.

Connect the unit to the AC mains supply as indicated on the label. If in doubt, refer to a qualified technician. This unit must be earthed. As its enclosure is made of metal, a loose or missing earth may be dangerous. If the AC power cord is damaged, it must be replaced with another of the same type. Take care to unplug at the wall socket before doing so.

Always replace fuses with same type.

Do not use the unit near water or any type of liquid. If liquid spills into the unit, immediately unplug the power cord from the wall socket avoiding touching the metal case of the unit. Refer to a qualified technician to inspect the unit before operating it again.

Do not place any container containing liquid on top of the unit, even if switched off. Keep the unit away from heat sources such as direct sunlight, cookers, radiators, etc. Always disconnect the power cord from the wall socket during a thunderstorm. Always switch off and disconnect the unit from the mains supply before cleaning.

Cleaning externally: wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Never use any solvents or alcohol-based cleaning liquids. If the unit is moved from a cold place to a warm one, condensation may form inside it which could cause malfunctioning.
