1.Set the camera to the Still Image mode.

2.Frame your subject using the LCD screen.

3.Press the shutter button halfway to set the exposure and focus. The camera automatically detects the subject. The camera’s focus mark is highlighted in green when the camera’s focus is locked on the subject.

NOTE:

When the camera’s focus mark is highlighted in green, the user can take photos normally.

When the camera’s focus mark is highlighted in red, the subject is not in proper focus, as the subject is either out of range or the light is too low. Release the shutter button, recompose the scene and press the shutter button halfway to reset the focus.

When the light is relatively low, the focus lamp helps the camera easily focus on the subject.

The LCD screen will show you the aperture value and shutter speed at when you take the picture.

4.Hold the camera steady and slowly press the shutter button down to take your image.
