Setting up the printer in Windows

Using a favorite setting

The favorites option, available in each tab except for the About tab, allows you to save the current properties settings for future use.

1 Select 'Printer Default' or 'Untitled' in 'Favorites.'

Printer Default: You can set the current properties as the default setting for the printer driver.

Untitled: If you apply new setting, ‘Untitled’ is displayed automatically.

Click 'Save' after entering desired name to save new setting.

Select desired name in 'Favorites' to use saved setting.

To delete a saved name, click 'Delete' after selecting the name.

If you click 'Yes' on the screen to confirm the deletion, 'Untitled' appears again.

Using help

Your machine has a help screen that can be activated using the Help button in the printer properties window. The help screen gives detailed information about the printer features provided by the printer driver. You can also click the question mark in the upper right hand corner, and then click on any setting.
