POWER indicator

Lights up when the power is ON (see page 11).

WHITE PAPER button/indicator

Use this button to make a paper document on the table appear whiter. The indicator lights up when this function is on.

EXPOSURE control

Use this knob to adjust image brightness (see page 14). To increase brightness, turn the knob to the HIGH side. To decrease brightness, turn the knob to the LOW side. Brightness may not be adjusted effectively using the EXPOSURE knob if the image is too dark.

ZOOM PRESET button/indicator

Press the ZOOM PRESET button to set the angle for letter/A4 size paper (see page 13). The indicator lights up when the button is pressed.

STILL PICTURE button/indicator

Press the STILL PICTURE button to freeze a moving output image. When the button is pressed again, the moving picture will start running again (see page 13). The indicator lights up when the picture is frozen.

The illumination lamps and the backlight cannot be used at the same time.
