Special playback modes

To enter the special playback modes,

use the wireless controller ( only; 13) and joystick guide ( 24). There is no sound during the special playback

modes.

Fast playback

From normal playback, play back scenes at a faster speed than normal. Every time the operation is performed, the playback speed is increased 5x15x60x.

Slow playback

From playback pause mode, play back scenes at a slower speed than normal. Slow playback is 1/8 the normal speed; slow reverse playback is 1/12 the normal speed.

Frame Advance/Reverse ( only)

In playback pause mode, press or on the wireless controller to

reverse a few frames (approx.

0.5seconds) or to advance one frame. Hold the button pressed for continuous playback.

Skipping scenes

To skip to the next scene:

Alternatively, press on the wireless controller.

To return to the beginning of the current scene or skip to the previous scene:

Alternatively, press * on the wireless controller.

*Repeat to skip to the beginning of the previous scene.

Ending special playback modes

During any special playback mode, press / on the camcorder or

on the wireless controller ( only) to return the camcorder to its initial playback mode.

NOTES

During some special playback modes, you may notice some anomalies (blocky video artifacts, banding, etc.) in the playback picture.

The speed indicated on the screen is approximate.
