Troubleshooting

Problem		Cause(s)					Solution(s)
Camera will not operate	Battery cover is open				• Ensure that the battery cover is firmly
					closed.

	2CR5 lithium battery inserted				• Insert the 2CR5 lithium battery so that its
	upside down				terminals touch the bottom of the
					battery chamber.

	Insufficient battery voltage				• Insert a fully charged battery pack.
	(Display panel flashes “Lb”)				• Replace the battery.
					• Use an approved AC power source.

	Incorrect battery type				• Use a fully charged Battery Pack NB-5H
					or a 2CR5 lithium battery.

	Poor contact between battery				• Wipe the battery terminals with a clean,
	and camera terminals				dry cloth.

Camera will not record	Mode Dial is set to the		,		• Set the Mode Dial to the			(Auto),
