• The electronic beep sounds and the picture is taken.
•While the image data is being recorded onto the SmartMedia, the viewfinder lamp turns orange. You cannot take pictures while the lamp is orange.
•When recording is completed, the electronic beep sounds and the number of shots available shown on the LCD monitor decreases by 1.
nNOTES
•Using the viewfinder to take pictures uses less battery power and allows you to take pictures longer.
•If you check the photographed image and it is not properly focused, lock the auto focus on a subject with strong contrasts (aP.27) and take the picture again.
•Look at the LCD monitor from directly in front.
•Hold the camera firmly to avoid camera shake (blurred images).
•The amount of image data recorded is not fixed and varies depending on factors such as the level of detail in the image. As a result, in some cases the number of shots available may not decrease, or may decrease by 2 when recording ends.
!CAUTION
Never remove the SmartMedia while data is being recorded as this can corrupt the data on the SmartMedia or damage the SmartMedia itself.
