When taking pictures of outdoor sports, this mode lets you capture still action photos easily.

Manual background : Panning mode (P50)

Panning is a technique of moving the camera tracking a subject in motion.

Using a slower shutter speed when tracking a subject, you can sharply photograph a subject in motion while blurring the background.

Manual background : Night portrait mode (P51)

When you take pictures of your friends in front of beautiful night illumination scenery, this mode allows you to get the appropriate exposure for your subject as well as the background by using flash and slow shutter.

Manual background : Motion images mode (P33)

Use this mode when recording motion images.
