	Indication			Phenomenon		Solution
DRIVE	ERROR		Failed	to	initialize the	If, after Power Switch is set to
			drive.			OFF, then REC or PLAY again,
						DRIVE ERROR is still
						displayed, the camera may be
						broken and needs repair.
READ ERROR			Failed	to	read.	The camera cannot read this
						image. Press + or - button to
						play the next image. A READ
						ERROR file cannot be delete in
						DELETE menu. Please format
						the disk, or delete with the PC.
WRITE ERROR			Failed to write.			If the problem occurred while
						capturing, please capture
						again. If WRITE ERROR is still
						displayed, the disk may be
						defective, or could not be read.
						Please reinsert the disk or
						change disks. If the problem
						occurred while setting a COPY
						or PRINT MARK, please try
						again. If still WRITE ERROR,
						repeat this procedure.
DISK ERROR			Unsuitable		disk.	If PUSH SHTR TO FORMAT is
(PUSH	SHTR TO	FORMAT)				displayed, you may format the
						disk. If PUSH SHTR TO
						FORMAT is not displayed, the
						disk cannot be formatted. (Disks
						that can be formatted were
						once formatted under DOS or
						Mac.)
