Cleaning the Viewfinder

If dust has entered the Viewfinder…

1 Push the Buttons on both sides of the Viewfinder and remove it in the direction of the arrow.

2 Remove dust with a blower brush (not supplied).

If you use a cotton swab or similar to clean the inside of the Viewfinder, use it very carefully to prevent scratching the screen inside the Viewfinder.

3 To re-attach the Viewfinder, push it forward onto the Viewfinder Tube until it locks with a click.

Cleaning the LCD Monitor (NV-VZ14/VZ15 only)

Clean the LCD Monitor with a soft cloth or a blower brush.

Cleaning the Movie Camera Body

Wipe it with a soft cloth.

Cleaning the Lens

Clean the lens with a soft cloth or a blower brush.

On the TV, select the AV input channel which corresponds to the audio and video input sockets that you have connected the Movie Camera to.

Close the LCD Monitor.

Remove the Battery.

Before connecting, turn off both the Movie Camera and the TV for safety’s sake.

If your TV is not equipped with audio and video input sockets, an 21-pin Adaptor 1 (purchase separately) is necessary. Consult your dealer.

Attaching the Lens Cap

After use, attach the supplied Lens Cap to the Lens to protect it.
