Connecting this unit to the DVD burner

Connect this unit to the DVD burner to copy data to discs or play back motion pictures or still pictures that were copied to a disc.

AMini AB USB Connection Cable (supplied with the DVD burner) B DVD burner (optional)

≥ Connect the Mini A terminal to this unit and the Mini B terminal to the DVD burner. ≥ Insert the plugs as far as they will go.

1 Connect the AC adaptor supplied with the DVD burner to the DVD burner.

You cannot supply power to the DVD burner from this unit.

2 Connect this unit to the AC adaptor.

3 Turn on the power to this unit.

4 Connect this unit to the DVD burner with the Mini AB USB Connection Cable (supplied with the DVD burner).

The DVD burner function selection screen will appear.

5 Insert the disc in the DVD burner.

Insert the disc into the DVD burner after connecting the DVD burner to this unit.

Please read the operating instructions of the DVD burner for how to use it.

If the DVD burner is connected to this unit with a disc already inserted, the message “CANNOT CHECK CONNECTED DEVICE. DISCONNECT THE USB CABLE FROM THIS UNIT.” may be displayed after “Please Wait.” is displayed for over a minute. When this happens, disconnect the Mini AB USB Connection Cable from the unit and remove the disc from the DVD burner to make sure the disc is usable and was not inserted upside down. (l 69)
