General Operation

Press and hold PWR for 3 seconds to program currently selected volume level. "ON VOL" and the current volume level will momentarily appear in the display. The unit will return to this volume level anytime the unit turned on.

Press LOUD to activate and deactivate loudness contour curve.

Press and hold LOUD for more than 2 seconds to activate the subwoofer output. The SUB icon will illuminate in the display anytime the subwoofer output is active.

Press EQ to select between POP, JAZZ, CLASSIC, BEAT, ROCK and OFF (default) equalization curves. Any adjustment to the Bass or Treble settings automatically cancels the current EQ curve (if one is selected).

Press DISP to select between clock and radio frequency (tuner mode), clock and playback information (CD/MP3/ WMA mode), or clock and AUX (AUX mode). Press and hold DISP for more than 2 seconds to select between clock and playback information (DVD mode).

With the unit on, press and hold DISP until clock begins to flash, then release. Press nn to adjust the hours and ll to adjust the minutes. Press DISP momentarily to save the selected time. The clock can not be set in DVD mode.

The clock will display 12-hour AM/PM time in USA frequency spacing mode (PM 10:00). In European frequency spacing mode, the clock will display 24-hour time (22:00).

Press and hold DISP then press ll to select function display priority (default). “FUNC” will momentarily appear in the display. Radio frequency, disc playback information, or AUX is displayed by default. The clock is accessed by pressing DISP momentarily.

Press and hold DISP then press nn to select time display priority. “TIME” will momentarily appear in the display. Clock will be displayed by default. Radio frequency, disc playback information, or AUX is displayed by pressing DISP momentarily.
