SYSTEM PLANNING

SYSTEM 4

System 4 is a four-way quad-amplified system. Amplifier 1 is bi-amplified for the front separates. Amplifier 2 is configured for two-way operation. The front channels are configured for two 4-ohm midbass drivers. The rear channels are configured two 4 ohm subwoofers. The RGC-1 controls the subwoofer level from the dashboard of the vehicle.

Amplifier 1

Lowest recommended impedance is 2 ohms stereo operation

Front channels are configured for stereo operation

Front channels are configured for bandpass operation

Rear channels are configured for stereo operation

Rear channels are configured for high-pass operation

Amplifier 2

Lowest recommended impedance in 2 ohms stereo

Front channels are configured for stereo operation

Front channel input configured for bandpass operation

Rear channels configured for summed stereo operation

RGC –1 connected to rear gain point controls bass level for the system
