•Pream ps with Line O utjacks:connectone pairofLine O utcables to yourm ain am p to poweryourm ain L & R speakers,and a second pair to the SW 10IIO R SW 12 LINE LEVEL INPUT. Ifyourpream p has only one pairof Line O ut jacks, you can use a pair of "Y" connector cords,available through yourNHT dealer.

Use if:

Your receiver has no Pre O ut or Subwoofer/LFE O ut jacks

To connectfora High-Levelsignal(Fig.4),use two addi- tionalpairs ofspeakercables,and connectas follows:

•Foram ps and receivers with separate A and B speak- eroutputs,connectone pairofspeakercables from your receiver's SpeakerA outputs to yourm ain L & R speak-

ers,and a second pair from your receiver's Speaker B outputs to the SW 10IIO R SW 12's High-LevelInput. Use this m ethod only ifboth A & B speakeroutputs can oper- ate sim ultaneously.

•Foram ps and receivers with only one setofspeaker outputterm inals,sim ply feed the sam e signal,in parallel, to both your m ain L & R speakers and the SW 10IIO R SW 12. Connectone pairofspeakercables from your

com ponent's speaker output term inals to the L & R speakers,and a second pairfrom the sam e outputter- m inals to the SW 10IIO R SW 12's High-Levelinput.The SW 10IIO R SW 12's inputdoes notpresenta significant load to the receiver,and willnotcom prom ise its outputto the L & R speakers. Ifyou find thatyourreceiverwillnot accom m odate m ore than one cable peroutputterm inal, check with your NHT dealer for alternative m ethods of connection.

With allsignalconnections com plete,itis now tim e to apply AC power.Plug the power chord into the power inletin the back ofthe subwoofer,plug the otherend into into the walloutletand switch the subwoofers powerto the O N position.
