Preparation

Cancellation of demonstration screen

For the first use, the following screen may appear repeatedly.

1 Set your car’s ignition switch to the ACC or On position.

The demonstration screen appears.

2 Press [SOURCE] (PWR: POWER).

3 Press [MENU] to display the menu display.

For using the remote control, hold down [SEL] (MENU) for 2 sec. or more.

4 Press []] or [[] to display the DISPLAY menu.

5 Turn [VOL] to select

“DEMONSTRATION”.

For using the remote control, use [}] or [{].

6 Press [PUSH SEL] to select “OFF”.

For using the remote control, use [BAND] (SET).

7 Press [MENU] to close the menu screen.

For using the remote control, hold down [SEL] (MENU) for 2 sec. or more.

Note: This unit is operable as usual even if the demonstration screen is activated. The demonstration screen automatically appears if no operation is executed for 1 minute.

Preparation Before Initial Use

Pull the insulation film out from the backside of remote control gently.

q Remove the battery holder with the remote control unit placed on a flat surface.

qStick your thumbnail into the groove, and push the holder in the direction of the arrow, and at the same time.

wPull it out in the direction of the arrow using a tough pointed object.
