Warranty Information

What your warranty does not cover:

Adjustment of customer controls.

Damage from misuse or neglect.

A unit that has been modified or incorporated into other products or is used for institutional or other commercial purposes.

Batteries for remote control hand units.

Units purchased, serviced or operated outside the U.S.A.

Loss of programming.

Shipping damage if the unit was not packed and shipped in the manner prescribed by Thomson.

Storage fees may be charged by the exchange point if you fail to pickup the replacement unit in a timely manner.

Any installation other than a basic initial installation. A basic initial installation consists of:

-Antenna mounted to a single family dwelling using 100' or less of cable.

-Antenna grounded to meet National Electric Code (NEC).

-Routing of the cabling through a normal frame structure or only one layer of masonry.

-One TV connected per each receiver.

-A telephone cable and connection installed at the connected TV.

Any installations performed by other than Thomson Consumer Electronics Authorized Installers.

Product Registration:

Please complete and mail the Product Registration Card packed with your DSS product. It will make it easier to contact you should it ever be necessary. The return of the card is not required for warranty coverage.

How State Law relates to warranty:

This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you also may have other rights that vary from state to state.
