AUX mode

"AUX ON": The corresponding au- dio input is activated and can be se- lected as audio source using the SOURCE button >

"AUX OFF": The audio input is de- activated and cannot even be select- ed as audio source with the SOURCE button > if an external audio source is connected.

Renaming the REAR-AUX input

(AUX NAME EDIT)

If you select the REAR-AUXinput as audio source, "AUXILIARY1" appears on the dis- play. To change this name:

￿In the AUX menu, press the rocker switch or = repeatedly until "AUX NAME EDIT" appears on the display.

Note:

The menu item appears only if you acti- vated the audio input (AUX ON).

￿Press the rocker switch :, "AUXILIA- RY1" is displayed.

You can now enter a new name with up to

14 characters:

￿The rocker switch or : is used to select the character to be changed.

￿Press the rocker switchor = to change the character. The character set is being scrolled.

￿Press the MENU/OK button < to fin- ish the text input and to store the name entered.

Note:

To quit the text input without changing the name, press the ESC/DIS button

FRONT-AUX input

Setting amplification (AUX LEVEL)

You can perform a volume adjustment from

0 to 8 for a connected external device:

￿In the AUX menu, press the rocker switch or = repeatedly until "AUX LEVEL" appears on the display.

￿Press the rocker switch : to call up the setting.

￿To change the setting, press the rocker switch or =.

￿Press the MENU/OK button < to store the set value.
