Sound settings

(AUDIO MENU)

The following sound settings can be changed in the "AUDIO" menu:

Adjusting volume and volume distribu- tion

Selecting the sound presetting

Changing equalizer settings

Switching off the equaliser

Note:

If you want to adjust the volume of "BASS" and "TREBLE", first select the audio source for which you want to use the settings.

To call up the Audio menu:

￿Press the MENU/OK button <.

￿Press the rocker switchor = re- peatedly until "AUDIO MENU" appears on the display.

￿Press the rocker switch : to open the menu.

Adjusting volume and volume distribution

You can adjust the volume of "BASS" and "TREBLE" separately for each audio source. The settings for X-BASS and the volume dis- tribution are used for all audio sources.

To perform settings:

￿In the "AUDIO" menu, press the rock-

er switchor = to switch between these menu items:

"BASS": Volume of bass between -7 and +7

"TREBLE": Volume of treble between -7 and +7

"BALANCE": Volume distribution left/ right between -9 and +9

"FADER": Volume distribution front/ rear between -9 and +9

"X-BASS": Increasing the bass at low volume from 0 to 3

￿Press the rocker switch : to call up the menu item.

The current setting is shown with a bar display.

￿To change the setting, press the rocker switch or =.

Selecting a sound presetting (PRESETS)

You can select sound presets for different music types.

￿In the Audio menu, press the rocker switch = until "ENHANCED MENU" appears on the display.

￿Press the rocker switch : to open the menu.

The Enhanced menu opens.
