The Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) panel displays the frequency, time, and activated functions.
NOTE: It is a characteristic of LCD panels that, if subjected to cold temperatures for an extended period of time,they may take longer to illuminate than under normal conditions. In addition, the visibility of the numbers on the LCD may slightly decrease. The LCD
bs VOLUME/AUDIO LEVEL METER DISPLAY
This display consists of left and right outer bar graphs and left and right inner graphs which provides a visual representation of the audio signal. The audio signal is represented by the two inner bar graphs whose illuminated segments increase and decrease as a function of the audio signal strength. As the signal increases, the number of illuminated segments will increase and
bt COMPACT DISC PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON
This button performs two functions: The first press selects the disc player playback mode, provided a disc is loaded; during playback, a second press pauses disc play. During disc pause, the disc icon will stop rotation, and the disc track/elapsed time indication will flash. Press the button again to return to CD player mode. To exit disc play mode, press the BAND button, which returns to radio operation.
If this button is pressed, and no disc is installed in the player, NO
bu TIME/FREQUENCY (T/F) BUTTON
During radio operation, momentarily press this button to call the time display on the incorporated quartz clock. The current time will appear together with an AM or PM indication. The display will return to the radio frequency indication after 5 seconds.
During CD player operation, the first press of this button will display the radio frequency, and a second press of this button will call the time display. In either case, the display will return to the disc indication after 5 seconds.

Press this button momentarily to enter the
5seconds before continuing on to the next
