Setting the Multicolor Illumination (CDA-9831 only)

You can change the lighting color of the following four buttons: SOURCE/POWER, BAND/TEL, gand f.

1 Press MENU to select Illumination.

2 Press gor fto select your desired color.

BLUE GREEN AMBER RED (USER'S*) BLUE

*You can use your desired colors as shown below if you have already registered to USER'S.

If you want to use colors other than the above

3 Turn the Rotary encoder to select colors (1 through 512).

Each press of BAND advances the color number by 30.

To store the setting contents

1)While setting the mode, press and hold any one of the preset buttons (1 through 6) for at least 2 seconds. The setting contents are stored.

To recall the stored color setting

1)While setting the mode, press any one of the preset buttons (1 through 6).

The stored setting contents are recalled.

4 When the setting has been completed, press MENU to select RETURN.

The unit returns to normal mode.

Pressing and holding MENU for at least 2 seconds will return to normal mode.

"No Memory" is displayed if a preset that has not been stored is recalled.

Changing the Lighting Color of All the Buttons (CDA-9831 only)

You can change the lighting color of the unit.

1 Press MENU to select Illumination.

2 Press SOURCE/POWER.

The lighting color of all the buttons are changed. AMBER ON AMBER OFF(green)

3 When the setting has been completed, press MENU to select RETURN.

The unit returns to normal mode.

Pressing and holding MENU for at least 2 seconds will return to normal mode.

SOURCE/POWER, BAND/TEL, gand fbuttons are changed to that which you have set above in "Setting the Multicolor Illumination" (this page).

Verifying the Software Version

Current version software can be verified in the display.

1 Press and hold MENU for at least 2 seconds.

2 Press MENU to select Information (INFO for CDA-9830).

The version is displayed.

3 Press MENU to select RETURN.

The unit returns to normal mode.

Pressing and holding MENU for at least 2 seconds will return to normal mode.
