Light indication

GPS light

The GPS light blinks when your device is trying to establish a GPS connection, and remains on when the GPS connection is established. When you close an application using GPS connection, the light blinks quickly a few times.

Navi key light

You can set the Navi key light to blink slowly to indicate when the device is switched on. The light turns on for a few second at intervals of approximately 20 seconds.

To activate the status light, select > Settings > Phone sett. > General > Personalisation > Standby mode > Status light > On.

Missed events

The Navi key light blinks slowly for a few minutes after a missed event, such as a missed call.

Screen saver

To set the screen saver settings, select > Settings > Phone sett. > General > Personalisation > Display > Screen saver. To set the timeout period after which the screen saver is activated, select Screen saver time-out. To set for how long the screen saver is active, select Screen saver duration.

Menu

In the menu you can access the functions in your device. To access the main menu, select .

To open an application or a folder, scroll to it, and press the scroll key.

If you change the order of the functions in the menu, the order may differ from the default order described in this user guide.

To change the menu view, select Options > Change Menu view and a view type.

Mark items in an application

To mark or unmark an item in applications, such as an image or a video clip in Gallery, press #. To mark or unmark several consecutive items, press and hold #, and scroll.
