Camera

Your device has two cameras to capture still images and record video clips. A high resolution main camera is on the back of the device using the landscape mode, and a lower resolution secondary camera is on the front using the portrait mode.

Your device supports an image capture resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. The image resolution in this guide may appear different.

Keep a safe distance when using the flash. Do not use the flash on people or animals at close range. Do not cover the flash while taking a picture.

You can send images and video clips in a multimedia message, as an e-mail attachment, or by using Bluetooth connectivity. You can also upload them to a compatible online album. See “Share online”, p. 39.

Capture images

Main camera

1.To activate the camera, press the camera key.

2.To zoom in or out, press the volume keys.

3.To lock the focus on an object, press the camera key halfway down.

To capture an image, press the camera key down.

Secondary camera

1.To activate the secondary camera, press the camera key, scroll left or right to open the toolbar,

and select .

2.To zoom in or out, scroll up or down.

3.To capture an image, select Capture.

Close the camera

To close the camera, select Options > Exit.

If you open the Gallery from the camera, the camera is closed.
